This type of outreach is increasingly appealing to Sikh parents who want to help schools understand why Sikh kids look different. Parents around the country are tying patkas or chunnis on their children's classmates. And the children seem to love it.

A menstruating Sikh women should not be allowed to do seva and it would be difficult to establish if she is menstruating when she requests to do seva.
GURMAT: There is no prohibition in Sikhism on a woman undertaking any Seva when she is mensturating...

GNFA President Penalized

The penalty for contempt is out. Starting May 1, Kashmir Singh is enjoined from going to GNFA on the first Wednesday of every month for six months. Further, he must pay reasonable costs.
